Cheerleading Camp will be June 9 to June 13. The camp will be from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the middle school MPC.

AMS Science Teacher Brooks Smith was excited to receive the Aledo ISD Education Foundation 2014 Inaugural Innovative Teaching Grant for a Groundwater Exploration Activity Model. The model helps students learn about the sources of groundwater, its storage and flow beneath the Earth’s surface, and the impact of human activity on this resource. Parents with expertise in the area of water resources gave presentations to several of the classes. The model provided the students with an engaging lesson showing how surface and groundwater can become polluted thus directly affecting our environment. We would like to thank Ms. Goderya and Mr. Daniels for their great classroom presentations.
There will be a parent meeting at Vandagriff Elementary on March 25. The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. and is open to any and all parents interested in learning more about Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). It will be led by Ms. Lynn Carpenter, a counselor with over thirty years experience working with children and families. Her experience also includes residential treatment, counseling, and work at The Parent Center.

Mr. Tarrant was able to wow the students with his musical abilities when he visited Ms. Norris' classroom last Friday. What a great opportunity for the students and Mr. Tarrant as they had a wonderful time exploring the world of music together.
