AMS New Assistant Principal

Aledo Middle School is very pleased to announce that Ms. Alyssa Seay has been selected and approved as our new assistant principal for the 2016-2017 school year.

We are very excited to have Ms. Seay back at our campus this school year.






 
AMS Summer Hours

16/17 Seventh Grade Reading List

Ms. Musselwhite Named AMS Principal
The Board of Trustees for Aledo Independent School District named Mandy Musselwhite the next principal for Aledo Middle School.

Ms. Musselwhite joined the Bearcat family in 2012 as a teacher at McAnally Intermediate School. In 2013, she moved into an assistant principal position at Aledo Middle School.


Ms. Cheryl Jones, current principal, has accepted a principal position at the Learning Center.



 
Ninth Grade Fish Camp

Fish Camp 2016 will be held on August 12 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Students will be able to pick up their schedule, tour the campus, meet new people, attend extracurricular fair and much more.

Prepackaged School Supplies are on sale until Midnight this Sunday, June 26. If you miss this deadline you will still be able to order supply packages beginning on Tuesday, June 28 at an increased price of $5 per package late fee. Online orders will continue until July 26, so hurry and get those orders in before the deadline. Your child's supply pack will be available in their classroom at Meet the Teacher for elementary grades Pre-K thru 4th, and available for grades 5th - 8th at schedule pickup. 
 

No more paper orders will be accepted after June 23.
 
16/17 Athletic Information
All 2016-17 Athletics Participants (Grades 7-12):
Please complete the following two items in order for your child to participate in MS or HS athletics next year.  These are REQUIRED and your child will be held from athletics if not completed.
1.  Go to
aledoisd.rankonesport.com to complete and submit ALL 6 forms listed under "Electronic Participation Forms."  You will need your student's ID number to access the forms.  Please complete prior to June 1st.
2.  Turn in an updated medical history/physical to the front office or admin building athletics office.  Physicals are required yearly and are only good for one calendar year.  These must be turned in prior to the first day of school and will be accepted over the summer.

The athletic department will be holding a mass physical event with their team physicians on May 19th from 4:00-6:00pm at the AHS Main Gym.  Cost is $20, cash or check made out to AISD.  All forms must be completed prior to receiving a physical.
